PH Valve Complete Gray

Achilles Valve Complete is a full valve replacement. Included in the valve complete is the cap with diaphragm, cap leash, valve with internal flapper, and the o-ring. The valve complete is threaded into the valve body. These are used on all Achilles models with exception of the SU series and Riverboats.

The Achilles valve is a tried and true, fully tested valve. To inflate, remove the cap to expose the flapper. Very little air will be able to escape past the flapper as the flapper allows air into the chamber, but not out. Using an Achilles valve adapter (C5102), filling the tube chambers is very easy. To deflate, the valve must be unscrewed from the valve body, but watch out as once unscrewed, the air escapes with a loud noise. The valve must be screwed down very tightly, which can make it difficult to remove for deflating. We recommend using a pair of pliers, but use the flat portion of the head of pliers against the valve grips to unloosen the valve and then use hands to finish. Using the teeth portion will ruin the valve over time.
