Tohatsu / Nissan safety lanyard cords are designed to shut off your outboard motor if the operator falls overboard

Applications: 

• Tohatsu - Remote Engines
• Nissan - Remote Engines
• Mercury - Remote Engines with out the Toggle Style safety switch

Function:

• Designed to shut off your outboard motor if the operator falls overboard
  • Lanyard must be properly connected to both the outboard motor and the operator
• Without this important safety feature your outboard would continue to run, without you at the controls
• This item is necessary to start your outboard
