In some applications, another piece of deck equipment can physically interfere with the drum or foot of a furling headsail. In these cases, the issue can often be averted by using a longer base toggle to raise the height of the furling system, so it no longer contacts the other equipment. • Raises the bottom of the drum assembly off deck - to clear an anchor in a bow roller, a windlass, etc. • Overbuilt to handle excessive side loads
