The "Endeavour" boat shoe is built like a true nautical footwear classic: the traditional way. These naturally waterproof, long-lasting, slip-on boat moccasins are made of leather hot stuffed with a rich combination of oils and waxes, and then hand-sewn with meticulous craftsmanship. Bound to the sea in name and design, the namesake of this iconic shoe is the equally iconic ship, the HMS Endeavour. Captained by the British explorer, navigator, and cartographer, James Cook, the ship is renowned for her exploration of the far side of the world (at least far side from Maine), but interestingly, Cook spent his first commissions creating some of the earliest and most detailed maps of Newfoundland and the St. Lawrence River, just north of Maine and cut from the same cloth in the nautical and sailing communities.

The Endeavour boat shoe is conditioned and enhanced by a natural polish that comes to life in this low cut classic canoe moccasin style construction.
